Attracting and Retaining Highly-Skilled Educators Through Micro-Credentials

A discussion of the solutions, barriers and recommended quality assurance standards for micro-credentials from the Micro-Credentials Partnership of States

Join digiLEARN and The Hunt Institute on Wednesday, June 28 at 2:00 p.m. ET for a deeper dive into the growing world of micro-credentials as a means to keep and retain highly-skilled educators.

This conversation will highlight the work of the Micro-Credentials Partnership of States – led by digiLEARN. In January, 2023, the Micro-Credentials Partnership of States released the Quality Assurance Standards for Micro-Credentials report with the guidance of RTI International. The Quality Assurance Standards for Micro-Credentials is a resource for educators, school districts, and state leaders to use as they incorporate micro-credentials into systems of professional learning and licensure. Panelists will share the recommendations from the Micro-Credentials Partnership of States and will explore barriers and solutions to widespread implementation. This is the fourth in a series of conversations about micro-credentials in partnership with The Hunt Institute.
